CSO - Chief Sales Officer for market leading energy company

The CSO will be dedicated to the preparation of a commercial strategy that defines the long-term vision and goals, and the preparation of a Business Case identifying target markets and target customers. Furthermore, the CSO will be responsible for creating a strong and competent sales organisation.

With direct report to CEO the CSO will be responsible for securing growth in
key markets through strong skills within solution-selling, business development and leadership. 

Your main tasks are: 
• Preparation of commercial strategy in cooperation with the management group
• Active sales approach to relevant customers: district heating producers and large energy-intensive companies in Europe and later to establish new markets outside Europe
• Heading negotiations and managing the relationship with the customers during all phases
• Participating in the project phase from proposition to signoff and ensure that you are single point of contact for the customers 
• Leading the team setting new standards for how Arcon-Sunmark manages planning, follow-up and reporting of progress internally across all tracks involved in the negotiations
• Securing compliance with Arcon-Sunmark’s internal processes and guidelines
• Leading, developing and motivating 10 employees located in Europe

Your have an excellent business understanding and you are experienced with Sales Management, 
Business Development and Key Account Management within solution-selling for large and complex
customers. You have also a profound technical understanding and can quickly be acquainted 
with the technology of the company. Preferably, you have sales and project management experience
within the energy industry, infrastructure or the construction industry.

You have a Bachelor, Master’s Degree or MBA within strategy, management, business 
development, international business or similar. You master English fluently in both writing and 
speech in order to drive complex and technical negotiations with international customers. 

You are a strong relation builder, having solid experience with long-term customer relations and stakeholder management internally as well as externally. You are an ambitious, visible and motivating leader, a strong negotiator, and you seek always the best solutions for the customers and the company.

Travelling: Approximately 80 days a year, mainly in Europe.
